A Family Tradition

More About Us

The Futch Family was excited to host our second annual Sunflowers on the Ranch and our 5th annual “Fox Squirrel Corn Maze” in 2016 on the Single R Ranch in Plant City, Florida. We were awarded the Farm Family of the year by Hillsborough County in 2015, we are very proud of this achievement as we have worked hard for many years. The ranch has been in our family since 1920, six (6) generations. Our Grandfather, Ralph, began putting together the ranch in the 20’s and 30’s which became 2000 acres of land for raising cattle and citrus. Our Dad, Alvin Futch, purchased the ranch and cattle operation in 1972 from his dad and continues to operate a smaller portion of the ranch today. And yes, the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren still help with the chores when dad needs an extra hand!
